Hi I’m Calli!

I went on a camping trip with my dad in Colorado after graduating high-school and one night as we sat by the fire, he(an engineer) said, “If I could do life over again, I would have been a photographer.” I thought that sounded pretty good, so I went for it. Almost 20 years later now, and it has suited me well :)

After college, I moved to Chicago, and fell in love with the energy of the city and… sushi. Next came love and moving out to start a family in San Diego whilst eating fish tacos and drinking iced pumpkin spice lattes in the October heat waves. Beautiful places and experiences for sure, but y’all there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME. So here I am, back in good ‘ol Normal, IL with my two small kiddos(Sam & Julia) soaking in the seasons again!

As I’ve developed my photography style over the years, I’ve discovered what sets my work apart is the energy I bring to it. I’m an extrovert and thrive on making people feel comfortable and turning an awkward situation into an enjoyable one. Bright colorful images make me happy so you’ll find your gallery full of them, but I also can rest in the simple beauty of classic black and white photographs. Colorful & classic. That’s me! Oh, and hot pumpkin spice lattes in the cool, midwestern fall. That is the REAL me :)
